In response to the growing childbirth crisis, MCC has played a vital role in supporting necessary legislation and organizing in communities to reverse the trend of diminishing options for care.
Local Advocacy Maternity Care Coalition supports community organizing on the childbirth crisis to help make citizen's voices heard by city and state legislators. MCC also created a Childbirth Crisis video.
Statewide Advocacy Maternity Care Coalition often works with key state legislators and executive branch officials on statewide policies affecting maternal child health.
What You Can Do as a Concerned Citizen
There is a role for all concerned citizens to take action to help improve the quality of life for all mothers and their infants across Pennsylvania.
