Accountant - Part time
The Accountant position performs the monthly general ledger transactions which include preparation and recording of journal vouchers, cash receipts, payroll, bank reconciliations; monitors accounts payable and receivable, prepares monthly financial reports, administers the accounting system, records and maintains fixed assets and assists in audit activity.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, minimum of five years non-profit accounting experience, CPA a plus. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Office, Access), experience in SAGE non-profit accounting software a plus. Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines, ability to contribute as an active team member. Human Resource Director
MCC seeks a Director of Human Resources who will be responsible for managing agency HR functions, including employee relations, hiring practices and policies, total compensation, performance reviews, staff development, HRIS, and unemployment claims and responses. The qualified candidate actively participates on the Diversity Committee, provides leadership and direction to the HR Committee, and works closely with Business Manager on employee benefits and retirement programs.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in related field, Masters preferred, five years experience in HR management, strong leadership skills, experience leading change management, excellent written, communication and organizational skills, ability to work well independently and on a team, and an interest in maternal and child health. Master’s Level HMO Program Specialist
MCC seeks a Master’s Level Social Worker to assist with the administration of our HMO Outreach Program. The HMO Program Specialist is responsible for implementation of community liaison services to pregnant subscribers of Medicaid managed care providers and will provide leadership in conducting outreach, assessment, and case management services. Case management services include assessment, referral, follow-up and monitoring, to pregnant and newly parenting women and their families, through routine phone contacts and regular home visits. She/he will assist women in developing service plans and setting and achieving goals related to education, training, employment and childcare and help clients access and utilize all necessary health and human services. The HMO Program Specialist will provide individual health education to clients and their families and maintain careful written and electronic records of all client contacts.
Master’s degree in social work required. Seeking motivated individual, with demonstrated clinical social work skills. Excellent written, communication, organizational and computer skills. Early Head Start Site Coordinator
Manager needed to assist with the administration of Early Head Start Program services in new program site supervising a staff of four Family Advocates (Home Visitors) in the Home Based program option and an Administrative Assistant. The EHS Site Coordinator provides general oversight for the program site and provides leadership in conducting outreach, follow-up, and home visiting to identify pregnant women and families with young children to assist them in obtaining primary health care and related child and family support services.

Assistant Health and Disabilities Coordinator
Assistant Health and Disabilities Coordinator needed for Early Head Start program to to assist in the planning, supervision, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of required services to participating pregnant women and children ages 0-3 and their families, and staff in the Health and Disabilities Service Areas in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The Assistant Health and Disabilities Coordinator assists in linking families to an ongoing system of health care, follow up and treatment services for medical and dental health issues; provides health resources for the families ensuring that families are linked to a medical home; maintains the system for storing health records and other vital health service data; and assists in promotion of health and safety practices, including performing quarterly health and safety check.
We seek motivated individual, knowledgeable about community health, and child health and development issues, with good computer skills. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and a minimum of an Associates Degree in health or related area with prior experience in health service provision is required. Bachelors degree preferred.

Male Involvement Coordinator
Male Involvement Coordinator (MIC) needed for MCC Early Head Start (EHS) program which provides support and service to young children ages 0-3 and their families.
The MIC is responsible for recruiting fathers and significant others for participation in program activities to become more involved in their child’s development. The MIC will coordinate all aspects of male involvement services in the EHS South Philadelphia, Norristown, and Pottstown, PA. program sites; act as facilitator for parenting sessions and; arrange workshops to meet father’s needs in other areas such as health, nutrition, and job skills. The MIC collaborates with Family and Community Partnership Coordinators and parent involvement staff to assist fathers in taking advantage of all EHS services.
We seek a motivated and energetic individual, with a strong interest in family health, parenting and child development issues with excellent writing, group facilitation, and computer skills. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and a minimum of a high school diploma with prior experience working with parent groups required. Parent Involvement Associate / Center Based Case Manager
Parent Involvement Associate/Center-based Family Advocate (PIACFA) needed for Early Head Start program to provide general support, guidance and training to program participant parents. The PIACFA is also responsible for supporting male involvement initiatives and assists in recruiting and enrolling pregnant women and families with very young children into the EHS program. In addition, the PIACFA provides support to enrolled center based families for maintaining good health and promoting child development. Program Assistant
Assistant needed for Early Head Start program to provide clerical/administrative support for the a new program site in Pottstown, PA. The Program Assistant assures coverage of the reception area, greets public and provides information and/or assistance to staff, clients and visitors whenever possible. Early Head Start Teacher
Teachers needed for Early Head Start program to assist with the implementation of the education program as outlined in both the adopted curriculum and the Head Start Performance Standards.
The EHS teacher communicates daily with parents and staff regarding educational strengths and/or concerns of enrolled children, writes daily lesson plans and individualized daily schedules for each child, records daily observations, and conducts quarterly home visits. We seek interested individuals with experience working with young children (preferably infants or toddlers) and working with parents and community volunteers. An Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA required.
