Employment Opportunities

Maternity Care Coalition (MCC), a dynamic $4M nonprofit, works to improve maternal and child health and well-being through the collaborative efforts of individuals, families, providers and communities. MCC has a caring and diverse staff, and a progressive work environment. MCC is seeking experienced and motivated individuals for the following positions:

Director of Annual Support and Major Gifts

Responsible for annual fundraising initiatives at Maternity Care Coalition, a leader working to improve maternal and child health in PA.  Manage staff in reaching financial goals for direct mail appeals, individual and corporate giving, and special events. Build relationships with individuals and families who have capacity to be major donors. Close gifts, design recognition opportunities, expand major gift society, staff development committees, and promote volunteer/donor involvement.

Ideal candidate will have at least five years experience as a senior development professional with a successful track record. BA required, appropriate advanced degree desired. Must have exceptionally strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills. Major gift background, supervisory experience, knowledge of donor database necessary. Flexible schedule, 4-5 days/week. 

Director of Fund Development and Marketing

Senior director, responsible for annual fundraising  and marketing initiatives at Maternity Care Coalition, a leader working to improve maternal and child health in PA.  Manage staff and consultants in reaching ambitious financial goals for government and foundation grants, direct mail appeals, individual and corporate giving, and special events. Build relationships with individuals and families who have capacity to be major donors.  Engage Board of Directors, staff and volunteers in developing long range and strategic fund development and marketing plans. Oversee setting department yearly goals, strategies and work plans, supervise staff and monitor progress in achieving outcomes.

Ideal candidate will have at least five years experience as a senior development professional with a successful track record. BA required, appropriate advanced degree desired. Must have exceptionally strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.  Supervisory experience, knowledge of donor database and excellent writing and editing skills are essential. Flexible schedule is possible.

MOMobile Program Manager

 

Experienced supervisor to be the Program Manager of the North Central MOMobile. Responsibilities will be to provide leadership in conducting outreach, follow-up, and home visiting to identify pregnant women and families with young children and assist them in obtaining primary health care and related family support services. Program Manager is responsible for a combination of direct services to enrolled families and the oversight of daily operations. 

 Requires excellent skills supervision of staff and students, written and oral communication, case management and direct service, organization and time management, community relations and an interest in maternal and child health. Program Manager coordinates program activities including parent meetings and special events, ensures that program goals are achieved and manages staff. Ability to maintain accurate written records and manage agency database essential for program monitoring. Qualified candidates will have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health or related field, or Bachelor’s degree with commensurate experience.

Family Start Advocate

Family Start Advocate needed for our Family Start Program to identify pregnant women and assist them in obtaining prenatal care and services. Provide support to the parents in promoting their child’s optimal development. Develop and maintain contact with clients by phone, mail, home visits.  Attend community meetings, health fairs and trainings. Keep accurate written records; use company database. Position requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent; have Community Health Worker experience; residence/knowledge of the community and resources; knowledge of infant and toddler development; good communication skills, ability to work well with people; good record keeping and organizational skills, Valid driver's license.  Position in Philadelphia.
