Payton presented Maternity Care Coalition (MCC), its North Central MOMobile, and the Pennsylvania Breastfeeding Coalition (PA-BC) with a citation in recognition of their efforts to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding for Pennsylvania families.

Both legislators, representing North Philadelphia districts in the Pennsylvania legislature, announced "I was a breastfed baby!"

JoAnne Fischer, MCC Executive Director, announced a special happy birthday to Jonathan Enrique, whose mother, Allison Anderson Acevedo is legislative specialist to Representative Thomas.
